“Senate District 13, in Nashua, has been held by Democrats for decades, but this year Republicans have the best chance to take it since they fell short by only 103 votes in 2002. That’s partly because this looks to be a strong year for the GOP, but also because the Republicans have an excellent candidate in lawyer and Marine Corps veteran Gary Lambert.

A Bronze Star recipient in Operation Iraqi Freedom, Lambert retired from the Marines last year after three decades as an officer in the active service and reserves. An energetic sort, he chose to continue his public service by running for public office.

Lambert works as a patent and copyright attorney. He says he deals with innovative ideas every day, and he wants to bring new ways of thinking to Concord. He thinks the state budget can be cut in part by across-the-board spending reductions, but also by aggressively pursuing better ways of doing business. He hopes to cut business taxes gradually over several years to spur job creation, and he wants to prevent further tax and fee increases. Voters should send him to the Senate to shake up the place.”

Following a long day greeting voters at polling locations Gary attended a post primary gathering hosted by the Nashua Republican City Committee at the Couryard Marriott in Nashua. Committee members, facebook friends and candidates all attended to watch the results come in.

Gary attended the Greater Nashua Mental Health Staff BBQ at Greeley Park where he talked with constituents about the issues as they participated in games and ate the hamburgers, hotdogs being cooked up by the Staff.

On 1 Sept 2010 Gary attended a meet the candidates event in Hudson, NH just over the bridge from Nashua. The event was hosted by Sandra Ziehm who is running for County Commisioner and featured US Senate Candidate Ovide Lamontagne, NH Gubernatorial Candidate John Stephen, US Congress candidate Jennifer Horn, and State Senate Candidates Gary Lambert, and Jim Luther. Over 40 people attended the event to hear the candidates speak.

Description: Over 30 supporters shared breakfast with Gary at the Estabrook Grille in Nashua. Breakfast was followed by a short speech from Gary. Afterward supporters mingled amongst each other and interacted with Gary.

Gary Lambert, along with fellow State Senate Candidate Jim Luther (District 12) and the majority of Republican candidates for the 2nd Congressional District, US Senate, and the Governors race all attended Nashua Rep. Pete Silva’s campaign kick off party.  The event was attended by over 80 people from around Nashua and beyond. They came to offer support to Pete Silva and hear the pitches of all the candidates in attendance, except of course Bette Lasky, Gary’s opponent and ironically Pete Silva’s next door neighbor.

31 July – Gary Speaks at Hamburgers with Howie Carr

Howie Carr, syndicated radio host from Massachusetts came up and was featured at this NH Republican Party fundraising event in Nashua, NH. Over 100 people attended this event including candidates ranging from local to state and national offices. The afternoon started out with a BBQ before Gary spoke to the crowd followed by Gov. John H. Sununu, and finally Howie Carr.

   Gary, Kelly Ayotte and Charlie Bass all made appearances at a fundraiser for Gary at the home of Brian and Lisa Law from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m on July 23rd.

   It was a rainy evening in Nashua and some thought that the weather would limit participation in the event but it was quite to the contrary. Over 150 people showed up to meet and greet with the candidates under the tents set up in the backyard.

   The event reached its climax when first, Charlie Bass, then Kelley Ayotte, and finally Gary Lambert gave speeches on why they were running and what they will do in the respective offices when elected.

Gary attended the NH Federation of Republican Women Nashua Area Dinner on July 12th at the crown plaza hotel in Nashua NH. Gary and all other candidates in attendance were given the opportunity to speak about the reasons they decided to run and what they will do once elected. The candidate’s speeches were followed by a dinner and the key note speaker, Andrew Hemmingway Creator of Conservative Groundswell.

On June 22nd, Gary Lambert joined host and NH State Representative Pete Silva on his weekly radio show “The Peoples Voice” to discuss Gary’s State Senate Campaign.
